Returns & Refund Policy


1. Overview

At Attic Sales, many of our products are handmade, vintage, antique, or one-of-a-kind items. Because of the unique nature of these pieces, our return policy differs depending on the type of product purchased.

Please read the sections below carefully before making a purchase.


2. Antique & Vintage Items

All antique, vintage, and second-hand items are sold as-is.

Due to their age and uniqueness:

  • These items may show signs of wear, aging, or character marks.
  • These features are considered part of the item’s history and authenticity.

For this reason:

We do not accept returns or exchanges on antique or second-hand items unless the item arrives damaged or is significantly different from the description provided.

Customers are encouraged to review all photos and product descriptions carefully before purchasing.


3. Handmade & Crafted Items

Items that are handmade by Attic Sales or our family workshop (including artwork, woodwork, and handcrafted items) may be eligible for returns.

Returns may be requested if:

  • The item arrives damaged
  • The item is defective
  • The item is significantly different from what was described

Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging where possible.


4. Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide photos of the item and packaging.
  3. We will assess the situation and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.

5. Return Shipping

If a return is approved:

  • Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
  • Items must be securely packaged to avoid further damage during return shipping.

6. Refunds

Once a returned item has been received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on payment providers.

7. Exchanges

Because many of our items are one-of-a-kind, exchanges may not always be possible.

Where an exchange is not available, a refund may be issued if the return is approved.


8. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Antique or vintage items (unless damaged or misrepresented)
  • Second-hand items sold as-is
  • Custom or commissioned pieces
  • Items damaged due to misuse after delivery
