Inside the Attic Studio family workshop

FAMILY-RUN. MADE IN-HOUSE.

Made by our family.
Built around your idea.

Attic Studio is a family workshop where traditional wood turning meets 3D printing, laser engraving and practical creative problem-solving.

HOW WE GOT HERE

A creative workshop with roots in 2013.

Our journey began with artwork, prints and antiques sold under the name Appointment Art. Visitors browsed by appointment, often discovering hidden treasures stored in our attic—the place that would eventually inspire our name.

After the lockdown years, we brought the collection online. Attic Auctions became Attic Studio, and as more of our own making and restoration work joined the collection, the business naturally grew into Attic Studio.

That history still matters, but today our focus is firmly on what we make ourselves: useful pieces, custom solutions and meaningful work shaped, printed and engraved in our family workshop.

THE STORY SO FAR

A collecting story that became a making story.

2013 / APPOINTMENT ART

The collection begins

Art, prints and antiques were shared by appointment, with the attic holding the best hidden finds.

TODAY / ATTIC STUDIO

Collecting meets making

Curated pieces now sit alongside restoration, wood turning, 3D printing and laser engraving.

ONE FAMILY. THREE CRAFTS.

Traditional hands. Modern tools.

Different processes, guided by the same care for detail, usefulness and character.

TRADITIONAL CRAFT

Wood Turning

Custom furniture legs, knobs, handles, bowls and faithful replacement parts are shaped by hand on the lathe. We can work from measurements, a sample or a reference photo.

DIGITAL CRAFT

3D Printing

We turn sketches, broken samples and digital files into prototypes, replacement parts, organisers, display pieces, personalised gifts and small production runs.

PERSONALISED DETAIL

Laser Engraving

Names, dates, logos, artwork and labels can be added to suitable wood, leather, selected metals, acrylic and other tested materials with clean, lasting detail.

WHAT GUIDES THE WORK

Useful. Personal. Made with purpose.

A project might begin as a broken part, a rough sketch, a reference photo or a blank piece of timber. We choose the process that suits the job and build from there.

From one-off gifts and faithful replacement parts to small production runs, we want every result to feel considered, useful and unmistakably personal.

Made here, made carefully, and made to be used.
